Last week, I had my pp presentation, but I also got wushu training. So I brought all the things needed to the training, since iti s before my timeslot for presentation. I changed and went for the presentation just about half an hour before the training ends. I rehearse a bit, then went in to present. Overall, it's a pretty pleasant experience, hope I can pass. After that go eat lunch with bunny and hui han and zi yun. I ate quite a lot that day, damn hungry. No breakfast and then training, restrict from eating stuff until 3+.
Ok, so what so funny is this about. The resul comes out on the monday morning. I happily find my clothes for the day and the pant & t-shirt for training. I search through high and low, I can find it. I'm sure I didn't misplace it, since I'm wearing the same clothes I wore the last time. So, I remember I never bring it home the previous week. Because during that day I opened my bag a lot of times, which should have my clothes, but it isn't there. Great, so I happily left it outside E5 for 3 days and never noticed it. I went to class as per normal, hopefully it is still there, but it wasn't. Made a report at OSC and then I skippede training to go all the way to kallang to buy. Now, warning, the funny part is coming:
I'm sorry to those who can't read chinese. So it is a flyer about buy/sell used handphones. In mandarine, hand is 手 and phone is 电话. For the combined version, a shorter word is used, 手机. In the flyer, it is 手鸡. Direct translation will be hand chicken. I laughed my ass out man, and some more it is in the middle of the street. Then I also come across a sign for a shop. Supposingly it is roast lamb meat. But it is a baby lamb(I don't know the name for it) and it is fat and juicy, I guess. It is writen in mandarine, 小肥羊, which mean little fatty lamb for direct translation. But the sign-board bring it to a new level, there is an english name for it, small feiyang. I laughed again, except for the word small, it is just an english way of spelling mandarine. What the hell, I wonder what if other caucasian see this? I bet it is writen by china people.
