Teaching

Few days ago, which is wednesday, is my first day of teaching. Ok, I tuition other people before, but not to a bunch of kids. So basically I am a conversational chinese language trainer, but I have to start as an assitant first, but I relief one trainer that happened to unable to come on that day. So, I'm a trainer at the first day. The kids are pretty....not annoying, but they are very keen on what they are going to learn for the day and they aren't too "hyperactive" until I need to shout at them to stop. I enjoy the first day of teaching so many people. Wait, is it possible for me to go into teaching instead of game designer? No way, I won't let an enjoyment to spoil my dream.

new stuff I bought last few days and it cost me a bomb.

Few days ago, I went to chinatown as usual to get some of my collection as well as walking with my friend to see what things to get for his sister. Ok, let's start with my stuff first, I got 2 sets of collection, one was ordered way before chinese new year and one just saw it randomly last few weeks.



This whole sets made me waited for about a couple of months, it cost me a $100 to get all of them. I know you people might ask why I get something so expensive? Well, this set is a pretty old one and thus that price.



Oh my god, this is my first rah figure. Oh, you asking what is rah? It means Real Action Hero, any figure in rah are the most realistic figure you can even imagine and that ultraseven, is rah. One thing that is for sure, rah figures are expensive, but that ultraseven is quite an old model since it was out for about one year. It cost me $150. There are more expensive rah, I show you people one of the most expensive rah that my friend got:



Look at the one in the middle, that's what my friend recently got and let you guess how much is that zoffy? It is $900!!! Whoa, unless I struck 4d(which I don't believe), I will get it. Well, since that I got new stuff and took pictures on it, let's play it a little...

L change the world...may be I should do that

Ok, that title is just crapping around. Like I said in the previous post, I went to watch L change the world. It is a sneak primier, but the cinema still got a lot of people.



This movie is great, I recommend this to everyone or whoever is reading this. This movie is so great, I'm willing to go watch it second time in the cinema.

This movie is about what happened to L after kira case. All who watched the previous movie knew that L wrote his own name in the death note to capture kira. He wrote that he will die in sleep 23 days later, but his last 23 days won't be in peace. He had to solve many police cases alone without his right hand, watari. Suddenly, there is an virus outbreak in thailand and L was being asked to find the vaccine of the virus, which is in a small girls hand. Many things happened during his investigation and he definitely shows up his face in the public a lot more compared to the previous movies, which he normally stays in the HQ.

Not to mention his love for sweet stuff and his weird sitting position and also his weird holding gesture. Although it is weird, but the charisma that it gave to us, I personally thinks that even tom cruise oe jay chou can't match. The ending was also good, shows the 豪爽 of L and the introduction of a serious character in the manga and anime.

I once again had to mention this, this movie is a must watch. It is perfect, even better than cj7 and ah long pte ltd.

Ok, CNY celeberation is almost over. This year ang bao is better than last year, I got more. But the celeberation mood was spoilt by that smashed car and visiting in malaysia. Last year during CNY, me and my father got food poisoning because eat steamboat, some are not fully cooked yet then we eat. Luckily mine is minor case, a few visit of the toilet then ok liao. During the CNY, I watch 2 movies and I will review them, I try to make it brief but detail, ok?



First one is "Ah long Pte Ltd", this is a movie from Jack neo and most of the singaporean got this formula: Jack neo = good director = good movie
Ok, this is a good movie, it is a good one for a laughter. The joke inside are pretty new and funny, but you can give up on hoping for actions. The action not good, more of the action scenes were being replaced by illustrations. The movie, even to the end of it, jokes are still there, so expect lots of laughter.



This movie, CJ7, got 4million box office in 4 days, some more just singapore only. Considering population in singapore, it is almost all singaporeans watched. Why is it able to attract some many people to watch? It is because the new way of bringing jokes to the audiences. Steven is famous of not appearing even in those paparazzi's(sp?) report, once appear, that means a big movie is going to be made. The kung fu hustle is a big success and this is even more successful. This one talks about how a poor family, only a father and a son depend on each other, showing fatherly love. The an alien dog appear(I don't even know whether it is a dog or what) and even bring them closer, not to mention the cuteness of this dog(?). Watch this movie, it is a must watch.

like I said in the previous post, robbery is the most concern issue I think of when going to malaysia. You guys guess what happened? Our car was almost smashed when we were eating dinner on the first day. On the first day, we went to a shop for dinner with my grandmother, at first my father want to park the car at one corner which my uncle recommended. My father at first want to do that too, but my mother and I convinced my father to park at the front of the shop because that corner is too dark. What happened after the dinning? My uncle's car was smashed and the items inside were stolen. If we didn't convince my father to park at other place, I guess that our stuff will be stole and all those are much valuable because everything of our's are in the car.

See, I already predicted all those. So who ever is reading this, better be careful of robbery or anything other stuff.

visit grandmother

tomorrow I'm going to visit my grandmother who lives in ipoh. Oh god, malaysia, one of the last place I ever think of visiting recently. The situation there isn't good, robbery and blugary happens here and there. Most common spot is in JB and few weeks ago, one of my aunt at ipoh got robbed too.

My bro told me this: "you learn martial arts mah, can protect us." Hello, bro, you got read news paper? They rob in groups, I at most can take 4 or 5 of them at once, if one of them took one of you guys as hostage then what should I do? Yeah, robbery is one of my concern when visiting there, wished everything wil be fine.

Happy chinese new year and a movie review

Happy chinese new year. Seriously, this is one of the 2 major event on the calender I care about, the other one is valentine's day, which most of the time I will be spending it alone. Well, since that it is chinese new year, it means time for new cloths and some red packets. This year, it is the first time I buy my own clothes. In the past, mr mom bought for me, because I don't know how to choose clothes and sometime I just don't bother to buy. So this year might a good year for me. I read the horoscope for the year and the zodiac sign for the year, it seems that this year, my love life will be pretty good, especially during the chinese new year season. Both horoscope and zodiac said the same thing, I seriously wished that this will be true, I'm sick of being alone.

Ok, here comes the movie review. Remembered that I said I went to watch another horror movie with friends? Well, you can guess what I am going to say, it is fucking horrible. This is not just my own opinion, both me and my buddy find this movie to be a fucking joke. That fucking horrible movie is called "The house", more like the fucking house!



This is a movie about a reporter trying to find the truth behind a murder case, she managed to find the link between the case and another similar case happened quite a few decades ago, an abandoned house behind the hospital. From what she heard from the locals, that house was haunted by a female ghost in blue. She went to investigate the house with her husband, surprisingly, she witness the similar murdering case happened in the house a few decades ago. She fainted after witnessing that, then the husband came and sort of saw the ghost in the house.

During the investigation, there is a female ghost kept telling her "be careful...don't come in." Ok, this is one of the part I can't find the logic behind it. If the ghost is trying to be helpful to the reporter, why the hell did she want to appear in a horrifying way? If I were the reporter, I might punch the ghost and some kicks, since that in the movie, the reporter can touch that ghost. That is the point, the message cannot be conveyed to the reporter nor to any person.

Near the end of the movie, the reporter was used by the ghost and killed her husband. She confront to the female ghost, the female ghost explained everything. The house was actually a ground of countless evil spirit that died in several wars happening around there. The reason why the reporter, recent murderer and the murderer few decades ago killed their loved one, it is because of the possession of the vengeful spirits. The reporter wanted to burn the house down, but once the gasoline was poured on the wall and pillar, it sort of evaporate. That is one more thing I find very fucking unbelievable. What temperature is needed to evaporate liquid within 10 fucking seconds? Back to topic. She did managed to burn the thing down, but she was sort of devoured by the spirits. Then the video that she took when confronting the female ghost, it appears to be her own report on the whole case and that is the ending of the movie. All my 2 friends and me were like "what the fuck..."

The horror level is below body #19, since it is below, you think it has any effect on me? I went to watch it with my buddy, a female friend and her boyfriend. Only the first scene that was meant to scare people shocked that boyfriend, the rest is nothing. My buddy said that "it is no fun that all the horror scences didn't even shocked me, you didn't even move during the scary part." I told him: "If I move, it means you are in deep trouble. Because I won't hug people or jumped when shocked by horror, I will punch." Scary...

In short, just don't watch any fucking horror movie, it wasted my money just to watch a movie that was not horrifying nor it is interesting. If want to put the idea of ghost in a movie, may be can try for comedy or love story. I love that kind of love story between ghost and human, or comedy. It is just the classic, watch the older hong kong movie about ghost like "the chinese ghost story" then you will know.
